Positive: The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very unique. The garden put back was lovely. The breakfast in the morning was very good. We were in a suite with a private pool, which was very nice.
Negative: Although the restaurant staff was there most of the time, the reception was not around much at all. There seemed a lack of communication between employees, so we were never sure if one of our messages relayed to one staff would be delivered to the other. We were told if we needed anything to dial a certain number, however, that never worked and we had to personally go and ask for extra towels and blankets. On our last day we were trying to check out and pay our finaly bill and there was no one at reception. The restaurant staff had to contact them on the phone and try to figure out the bill. All very confusing and we never did get a receipt. It was a lovely place, but I wouldn't stay there again due to conflicting messages between staff. It was very disorganized and they need to improve that aspect.
